Every time I pick up my camera, I strive to create an object of beauty, inspired by nature and the world around. Whether the final product is a photographic print, mounted on your wall, that evokes most cherished feelings, a greetings card you send to that special person or a handcrafted journal you use to fill with your creative ideas, my objective is to enrich one's life by filling it with meaningful, functional and high quality art objects.
My photographs are printed to the highest standard at London based theprintspace, on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® and German Etching papers, using archival inks. All prints are signed, titled and numbered.
My greetings cards are printed on a high quality stock. They are available in 7x5in for individual cards and A6 for notecard packs. I sell them with a kraft envelope, wrapped in a protective cellophane. All of my cards are blank inside. I am making a transition into using only FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) paper and biodegradable cello bags.
The journals I create are made with papers from mixed sources, often recycled or off-cuts to minimise the wastage and keep the cost of materials at a lower level. The cover for each journal is made out of fabric wrapped around mixed card stock. The images are printed on cotton drill, using water based pigment inks. This printing method is more eco-friendly than some others.
